Lymphedema is referred to chronic swelling that affects lower limbs and some times
upper limbs also. Occasionaly it can affect both lowerlimbs.
Lymphedema results from a blockage in lymphatic framework, which is a very
important consideration of immune system. The blockage keeps lymph liquid from
draining properly, and the liquid development prompts swelling.
While there is no remedy for lymphedema, it can be controlled with early diagnosis
and medications.
Symptoms
The swelling brought about by lymphedema ranges from small to very rarely noticeable level. Lymphedema brought about by disease treatment may not happen until months or years after treatment.
